Cactus and Succulents



Cactus and succulents are ideal terrarium plants since they survive the longest without water for days...watering them only twice a week though. Usually you don't water as much when they're inside a terrarium especially when it's sealed tight. Its moisture will naturally fill them up, like in a greenhouse effect. But I usually uncover my terrarium for minutes or so and mistily hand-spray them twice a week. After it settles in, I place the cover back on and revisit them time to time.

    I like the terrarium... that's a crazy word. :) So what else do you grow miss green thumb?? :)
    I had fun scoping out the 2008 New Dawn pics via LCP website. Ah good times... fun to see familiar faces.
    we got snow the other day... only a dusting.... nothing sticking yet. I don't think the cactus would survive here very long! haha!

    Cactus is really cool to see but when it will hurt you when you grip it. Amazing work maam 😉

"I am making a terrarium." I was explaining to my 4 year old nephew, Aaron, when he asked what I was doing one morning.
