Common Swallowtail Butterfly in our garden. Its yellow is saturated compared to the ones I have spotted before. But it's definitely the same specie: Papilio Machaon (Linnaeus)

Cactus and Succulents

Cactus and succulents are ideal terrarium plants since they survive the longest without water for days...watering them only twice a week though. Usually you don't water as much when they're inside a terrarium especially when it's sealed tight. Its moisture will naturally fill them up, like in a greenhouse effect. But I usually uncover my terrarium for minutes or so and mistily hand-spray them twice a week. After it settles in, I place the cover back on and revisit them time to time.

"I am making a terrarium." I was explaining to my 4 year old nephew, Aaron, when he asked what I was doing one morning. And continued saying that if fish lives in this glass box, it is called 'aquarium' but if it's plants growing, it is 'terrarium'...He smiled hearing the rhyming words. When asked again if he'd gotten what I told him, he smilingly mumbled.
